The Buffalo Blues Trio celebrates the rich history of American blues music, highlighting female blues artists from the 1920’s-1960’s such as Bessie Smith, Nina Simone, Big Mama Thornton, and even Janis Joplin, who was influenced by these amazing Blues performers. Playing a mix of our own original tunes and blues classics, this unique trio features Ramon Marc Butler on guitar, Diane Bock on upright and electric bass, and singer songwriter Michele Murphy on lead vocals.  Each song tells a story, some are danceable, others are sweet ballads, so whether people are looking to be entertained, sway to the music or just have us blend in as background music, we can provide a wonderful experience for your guests.

We are featured on the Mountain Music Productions website, FaceBook and Instagram page, we have over 1,000 followers on our own social media pages (20+) Buffalo Blues Trio | Facebook and have a local fan base who have been known to travel great distances to attend our shows.  We have had the pleasure of performing at the Redwood Mountain Faire, the Felton Music Hall, we have a monthly residency at the Davenport Roadhouse, we regularly play at The Historic Brookdale Lodge, The Steel Bonnet Brewery, Shanty Shack Brewing, Big Basin Vineyards and at the tasting room downtown, and at private and corporate events in the Bay Area.  We recently staged and performed a sold-out benefit for Hurricane Helene victims at the Enterprise Iron Works in Santa Cruz and are looking forward to supporting Painted Mandolin at their 10th anniversary celebration at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center in January, 2025.
